Lithium Battery Shipping Guidelines (LBSR) Digital Version 11th Edition 2024, English
Lithium batteries have become the preferred energy source to power a wide variety of consumer goods. Most people are not aware that lithium batteries are dangerous goods and can pose a safety risk.
The transport regulations applicable to lithium batteries can be difficult to navigate, therefore, IATA has created the LBSG to assist shippers of lithium batteries and equipment containing lithium batteries to meet their safety obligations.
The LBSG includes everything you need to safely and efficiently prepare lithium battery shipments in compliance with international air transport regulations.
